How do I register?
You can register online by clicking on the registration icon on the main TCX 2009 page. This will take you to our online registration site. Follow the on-screen commands through the rest of the registration process. Register before midnight on Sunday, December 13 to receive a $26 pre-registration discount.
Is my pre-registration money refundable or transferable?
NO. In a conference the size of TCX there are many financial obligations that we must fulfill ahead of time and the deposit money from the attendees is used for this. Things like reserving and paying for rooms and meeting space in the hotel, renting sound, light and other equipment for the ballroom and printing materials for the conference are all partially covered by this money. Because we base our financial projections on the amount of people who are registered, collecting the deposit shields us from greater financial risk. Thank you for your understanding.
What time does the on-site registration begin at the hotel on the 28th?
Registration will begin at 3:00pm and end promptly at 6:00pm. If you were at TCX last year, registration will run the same way. If this is all new to you, no worries. Simply get to the hotel and we will walk you through the process.
What do I need to bring with me?
1. Warm clothes and shoes for the day of outreach in the city
2. Bible and journal
3. Although there are eating establishments around the area, many have found that bringing bagels, PB&J, bread, and fruit are helpful and convenient. If you want you may also bring a small cooler and a hot pot. Creative eating is the key.

May I commute and if so how much is it?
Yes, you may commute to the conference. The cost for commuting is $150 for the whole conference. Don't forget that parking downtown Minneapolis can be very expensive.

How do I get to the hotel, and what about parking?
You will find a link to the Hilton website on the top of the main TCX webpage. You can either park at the Hilton for $12 a day, or, included in your registration is off site parking with limited access. When you arrive at the hotel to register you will be directed to this off site parking option and will be provided with a shuttle ride back to the Hilton.
I don't have transportation. Is there any way I can ride with someone?
Contact your local Campus Crusade for Christ leader or student planner for information on how to get to the conference. If you do not know who to contact please email us at tcx@uscm.org and we will put you in contact with your local staff person or student leader.
I noticed that meals are not included in the conference price; where will I eat?
There is a wide variety of places to eat near the hotel. There is also a Target nearby where you can buy some basic grocery and food items. Feel free to bring some snack and food items with you, just keep in mind that there will not be any refrigerators or microwaves available to you at the Hilton.
How can my parents contact me, in case of an emergency?
The best way for your parents to contact you is through your cell phone. Secondarily, they can call the Hilton operator at (612-376-1000) and be connected to your room. Once you arrive safely a the conference, please communicate with your parents so they are not worried unnecessarily about you.

Who will I live with?
This will be determined on site. As you arrive, you will be directed to the floor where students from your area are staying. A staff member will put you into a room with three other students from your area. If you feel strongly about rooming with a particular person, the best way to ensure that is to arrive with them. To keep conference costs low, we must put people into rooms as they arrive, and we need to fill up each room.
What outreach opportunities will be offered this year?
We view this whole conference as a great time for reaching out to others and sharing the faith we have in Christ. On our specified Day of Outreach, we will be distributing Boxes of Love in Twin Cities neighborhoods in conjunction with local churches and Here’s Life Inner City as our primary outreach.
